BamaJam 2012’s all-star line-up is full of military supporters including Tim McGraw whose 2011
Tour for the Troops concert, courtesy of the Air Force Reserve, celebrated the military and
their families.
"I am proud to perform for the troops and to celebrate our
heroes, bringing attention to the need to improve quality of life among men and women who serve
our country, " said Tim Mcgraw.
Country star and amaJam Farms spokeperson Darryl Worley has taken many trips overseas throughout Afghanistan and Kuwait. Since 2002, Worley has visitedmany of the forward operating bases (FOBs) and recently he visited the tiny and elite Special Ops sites that rarely recieve celebrity visits.
Other BamaJam 2012 performers who have shown their support for our military men and women

Kid Rock who in 2010 played a free concert for our nation’s
service members and their families at the Kid Rock Salutes the Troops;
Zac Brown Band, who partnered with Ram Truck Brand to send letters to US soldiers stationed
around the world in 2010;
Alan Jackson who swept the country with his
“Where Were You When The World Stopped Turning” tribute
Casey James who
played at the Operation Gratitude concert at Camp Pendleton and expressed the he was “honored to
perform for people who do what is necessary in awful places so that guys like me can do what
they love”;
Third Day, who in 2008 traveled to Kuwait and Iraq to meet
and perform with servicemen and women at several bases in the area;
Willie Nelson, who organized the Red Cross Service to the Armed Forces which honored active duty
military and veterans through the “Salute Our Troops” concert;
Jamey
Johnson who in 2009 joined forces with CMT One Country to support the USO (United Service
Organizations) during CMT on Tour 09. During the tour attendees were encouraged to fill out
postcards thanking our troops for their service;
Uncle Kracker, who
played the “Sounds of Freedom 2011” concert and said “I’ve been to Iraq and played for
troops there. It was an experience I won’t forget. We definitely appreciate what (the Marines)
do”.
